Impromptu Escape, Performance, 1 hour, Helsinki, Finland, 2022

I tied an iron chain to my neck, dragging a bouquet of flowers, walking back and forth on the street of Helsinki in the early spring snowmelt. I posted some photos of myself walking with the chain and flowers on Weibo, China's Twitter; they lasted seven hours before being blocked from all Chinese social media platforms and permanently deleted due to the massive reposting and conversation they sparked in the specific cyberspace.
