Table Manner

Performance, pOnderosa, Stolzenhagen, Germany, 2015

What to expect from having dinner with others in social situations? Today people are so afraid of silence and awkwardness, and they force themselves talking endlessly. During the performance, we tied our tongues with a thin thread and struggled to talk with our rigid bodies. We turned off our chests tentatively, creating tension and screaming with mouths and limbs. Finally, we spit out the apricot that had been rotating in our mouths and pulled out the threads from our mouths, fleeing from each other.
